Outraging photo of cop parked in handicapped spot goes viral

Does it make you furious to see people randomly parking on the handicapped spot?

This will fuel your anger even more since the misbehavior comes from a cop.

CBS's affiliate WTTV reported that the photo of a police car parked on the handicapped spot at a IHOP parking lot was posted on Reddit with the headline "My local police must be responding to a pancake emergency" and went viral, starting a heated debate around the action.

Lafayette Police Department Chief Patrick Flanelly told the news station that he initiated an internal investigation to learn more details about what happened, but finally concluded that the officer parked there as a simple mistake since he didn't notice the sign as it was not properly marked.
